A case related to a living box design
AIP, representing an individual, who owns design rights of a storage living box with visible interior, defeated many infringers at invalidation trials and won the Supreme Court case. AIP thereafter won a design right infringement case for prohibition of infringement and damages. This is a case of great significance in the design field, where great damages were obtained from a lawsuit against infringement of design rights related to household goods.
