More than 10 Korean pharmaceutical companies, including S Pharmaceuticals, which manufacture and sell urinary incontinence treatments by changing the method of formulation compared to the conventional patented technology, were having difficulties in their operations after being sued for patent infringement by H, a multinational pharmaceutical company that holds basic formulation patents. AIP, which have been delegated all of the above 10 cases, demonstrated that the formulation of domestic pharmaceutical companies differs from that of Company H's basic patents and that it is outstanding in terms of effectiveness, and this, leading to the withdrawal of Company H's lawsuit, so that the related domestic companies can operate actively regardless of the existence of patent rights.
